About Jason
I am a lifelong learner and my relationships with my students have allowed me to expand my areas of interest, including stochastic calculus, stochastic modeling (Monte Carlo Analysis), structural equation modeling (statistics), Salesforce, Tableau, Power BI and other topics important to my students. Currently, I am working on gaining the CFA (chartered financial analyst) certification for investing and expect to take the CFA Level III exam in 2026. I have tutored and taught students from California to New York to London to Bahrain and my history of working long and flexible hours as a consultant makes it easier for me to accommodate my students' sometimes changing schedule needs.

My approach to tutoring is to find out what you need and craft a custom approach that meets those needs. Some of my MBA and undergraduate students really need help with Excel, rather than the subject matter or some are looking at how they can apply the knowledge from investments in their own retirement accounts and investments. I have also helped some students how to understand accounting and financial modeling well enough to create pro forma income statements for their start up businesses.
What sets me apart from other tutors is my practical knowledge and schedule flexibility, plus I am willing to learn new topics to help students, such as Stata, Oracle's Crystal Ball or structural equation modeling (statistics).
