About Daisy
My name is Daisy, I am half English and half French. Although I have always lived in France, I am fluent in English thanks to my mother who talked to me in English since I was a kid (You should do the same and contact me for some lessons). I am from the Vexin Français which is the countryside near Paris. I have decided to move to university in Glasgow to study Architecture at the Glasgow School of Art this September.

I provide 1 hour lessons at a time. My teaching methods vary because of many factors, an important one could be the age of my client. For children I like to introduce the language through games and activities that the child appreciates. Reading To my student is also one of my methods, I read a story and translate it in order to enhance the comprehension of the French language as well as the recognition of the accent. My aim here is to create an appreciation of the language so that the child wants to learn with me. For older students I think building up a discussion is more interesting in order to be able to comprehend and express oneself. I would also work on accents and reading. I obtained my Baccalauréat Français International with Honours in 2025. I also did the Cambridge certification in 2025 and obtained the level C1. I have given English lessons to a 7 years old French student during the school year of 2024 to 2025.
