Throughout my journey as a teacher, I now understand how important it is for our students to get explicit, systematic phonological instruction to help build their reading skills. Please allow me to help your child understand different concepts in reading and identifying sounds to make a word. Let's strengthen their foundational skills, such as their letter sounds, and then strengthen their individual sounds in a word and be able to recognize how many sounds a word has and then blend three-letter words to four letter funds identifying different sounds such as digraphs, glued sounds, short and long vowel sounds and so on...
