About Fernando

I give private Office suite classes and programming seven years ago. I've had more than 80 students. Objectives have always been met, either the punctual ones (students who wanted to solve a problem punctually or gain faster on certain tasks) as well as the more challenging ones (full domain of Excel, as requested by the new or potential employer).

About the lesson

I've been a computer tutor for seven years. My professional skills are to prepare young professionals to use Office Package tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Project, Outlook) and programming (VBA, SQL Server) in the following areas: 1- Professional: to solve problems and speed up basic day to day, in areas such as Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Finance, Engineering, etc. 2- Personal: to gain speed and organization to plan and perform tasks in areas such as personal finance, personal and career project planning, etc. Additionally, experience in teaching timely topics, according to student need, at all levels of proficiency. For example, the student may present me with a particular problem that he or she wishes to solve (eg automate budget calculations so that I do not have to repeat accounts every time changes occur; I will solve the problem step by step with the student to teach solving similar problems and continually updating the solution My teaching method has three pillars: 1- Focus on the student: I have experience in identifying the main points to improve the student and address them at the appropriate pace, keeping learning as a pleasant experience 2. Quick results: I provide intensive trainings that help the student to achieve high performance, to quickly resolve several situations in a consistent way. 3. Immediate use in the day to day: I build habits and good practices with the students that lead him to incorporate good practices in the Office environment to your day to day, gaining confidence in different situations.
