About Hafsa

I’m a friendly and easy-going tutor who loves to make learning feel less stressful and more fun. I’m good at understanding how each student learns best, and I use humour and a relaxed vibe to keep lessons interesting. But when it’s time to focus, I know how to switch gears and make sure we get the work done. This mix of fun and focus helps my students feel comfortable asking questions and makes learning something they can actually enjoy.

About the lesson

I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and work through challenges. My teaching style is very interactive – I encourage students to explain their thinking, as this helps me identify any gaps in understanding and guide them step by step. I also like to break difficult topics into smaller, manageable parts and use real-life examples to make concepts easier to grasp. Each lesson is typically 1 hour and 30 minutes long. I usually start with a quick recap of previous topics to reinforce learning, followed by focused teaching on new material. We then work through practice questions together, gradually moving towards independent practice so students can build confidence. At the end, I review any tricky areas and set small, manageable tasks for them to practise before the next session. I teach: SATs students – covering all subjects (Maths, English, and Science). GCSE students – specialising in Maths and Science. My lessons are suitable for students of all abilities, and I can adapt my approach depending on their learning style and confidence level. I have recently completed my GCSEs, achieving strong results, which means I have up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum and exam techniques. I understand what it feels like to prepare for exams and can share tips that worked for me. My goal is to make learning less stressful and help students feel well-prepared and motivated.
