About Selim

I am a KCL Law student, actively working towards becoming a barrister.

I recently completed my IB Diploma, scoring a 42.

I am extremely passionate about fitness, public speaking, debating, and politics.

I tutored for 2 years in my school as a part of the National Honours Society.

About the lesson

A lesson is generally between 30 minutes - an hour

First, we would tackle an LNAT Section A text together for, read it, then summarise the intention of the author, critical points, and solve the questions.

Then, after addressing section A, we would move on to section B, constituting of an essay on any political/philosophical/legal issues, not needing prior knowledge. What is key to develop here is critical thinking and the use of broad, varied examples, which I aim to help you with!

If you aim to maximise your LNAT success, begin working as soon as possible, daily, with the support necessary to realise your ambitions.

Not only were his teaching methods engaging, but they forced me to think creatively about history in a way I had never done before, something which is deeply important for the IB when examining multiple perspectives. I remember revising my history essays with him, and learning firsthand how I could get my ideas across in a more compelling way. It was also from his help that I managed to score a 28+ on the LNAT. Looking back now that I have graduated, I could not recommend Selim enough to current and future students who are focused on the IB!
