About Sophie
I have recently graduated in Spanish and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) and have an experience teaching to all ages from young up until old in both English and Spanish. I have a Spanish proficiency of C1 and can teach up to degree level. I have previously lived in Murcia, Spain for a year during my University degree as a sandwich year and therefore, not only have en excellent knowledge of all aspects of the Spanish Language but I also have knowledge of the Spanish Culture. As a native English speaker and qualified English teacher, I can teach English as a second language up to any level.

I have experience in teaching all types of learners at all different levels. For beginner learners I will focus on teaching basic but useful Spanish in a fun environment where it is easier to learn. I can also teach intermediate and advanced Spanish learners in this environment but with the corresponding level of Spanish language and activities. I believe in communicative teaching methods and not tedious grammar translation methods as this allows the student to be taught fun, interactive lessons where they can participate and practice as much as they like which I believe leads to greater success in language learning. Whatever your level of Spanish or what you would like to learn in particularly, I will be able to adapt my teaching methods and materials to suit you.
