About Elyshia

Founder | Life Coach | Mentor | Speaker | Presenter | Doctoral Researcher

I am the Founder of Pillar of Women and have over two decades of experience supporting people with confidence, self-belief, motivation, personal development and creating opportunities.

My background is diverse and grounded in real life. I have worked within grassroots communities, developed different ventures, travelled, delivered workshops, presented to audiences, spoken on panels and worked with people from many different backgrounds.

I created and delivered my Phenomenal Workshop, focused on confidence, goal setting, motivation, mindset, self-belief and helping people turn ideas into action.

I also bring experience in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, management and leadership, which means I can support people who want to develop an idea, think differently about a business or simply work out what direction they want to take next.

I am also a qualified fitness and dance teacher and understand the value of routines, discipline, movement and wellbeing in building confidence.

Alongside my practical experience, I am a doctoral researcher. My own journey has included major setbacks, loss and unexpected changes, but I have continued studying, building and creating. That experience is part of the reason my coaching is not based on a perfect or filtered version of life.

I have empathy, and I listen, but I also believe we have to be accountable for our actions. Yesterday cannot be changed, but we can decide what we do with today.

About the lesson

My coaching style is honest, down-to-earth, supportive and action-focused.

I work with teens and adults around confidence, self-belief, goal setting, motivation, accountability, relationships, personal development, entrepreneurship and turning ideas into action.

It is easy to get stuck in “what if?” — what if this happens, what if that goes wrong, what about next week? My approach is to listen to what is happening, look at what you can control and help you decide what you are actually going to do next.

Rome wasn’t built overnight. Goals take consistency, accountability and regular check-ins. We can set realistic goals, review what is working, measure progress and look at situations from a different perspective.

Sometimes I will encourage you to step outside your comfort zone — not to become somebody else, but to recognise what you are capable of.

We can work on confidence, relationships, routines, communication, business ideas, motivation, self-belief, turning pain into passion and developing your own burning ambition.

I believe strongly in the power of words: I am. I can. I will. I did.

Sessions are typically 60 minutes and are tailored to you.
