About Sean
I am a veteran teacher of 10+ years who has taught both in public and private schools in New York. I hold 2 masters degrees and have earned two master teacher fellowships from Math for America. There is no greater joy than seeing a student's confidence and skill improve over time!

I tutor students ranging from 6th to 12th grades. In my background as a licensed special education teacher of 10+years, I teach students of diverse academic backgrounds and levels and am adept at coaching students with ADHD and executive functioning needs.
I have worked one-to-one particularly in science and Mathematics (Pre-algebra to Calculus), Chemistry, and test prep (SSAT, ISEE, SAT, ACT). In addition, I have helped many of my students with study skills, test preparation, time management and organizational skills. I am patient but hold high expectations of my students. I initially assess each student in order to pinpoint strengths and areas of need. By doing so, I am able to meet each student at his or her level and fill in learning gaps so that they can be successful.
