About Isabelle
I have studied AQA sociology for the past 5 years, and I have loved every second of it. Unfortunately, I am embarking on a course in Clinical Psychology at the University of Exeter in September so I will not be able to continue to study the course. I felt that if I could no longer be assessed on the course, I could retain my passion by tutoring sociology students. I have a collection of my top bands answers (some of which are full marks), as well as documents of revision notes and guides to gaining top marks. I have tutored a handful of year 12 pupils who have argued my tutoring and resources to be highly helpful. I am flexible and organised and will create lesson plans tailored to the student’s needs. I am also looking to gain some extra money before entering university.

I have completed both AQA GCSE and A-level Sociology, specialising in education, theory and methods, families and households, crime and deviance, and beliefs in society (I have been predicted an A/A* at Dunottar Sixth Form). I have tutored year 12 clients, tailoring lesson plans to their needs. When educating clients on exam techniques, I focus on techniques required for the top bands answers. Having recently completed the course, I have a fresh and strong memory of the content, as well as access to knowledge from the 2026 paper that I can implement into lessons. I charge £15 per an hour, and I can arrange for lessons to be in person or via Zoom.
