About Greta
I am an Italian-born freelance violinist and teacher. After graduating from the Royal College of Music I have been working across Europe playing with ensembles and orchestras. As a performer I mainly work in classical and historically informed environments, but I also enjoy other genres including traditional and pop music. Teaching has always been a passion of mine, I worked in several schools and taught a wide range of levels and ages. I have led workshops and regularly taught 1:1 or in group settings. I particularly enjoy coaching groups or orchestras, as I believe music is more fun when done together, especially as a string player!

Everyone learns in different ways, that’s why throughout the years I developed personalised plans for each one of my students. Besides the actual violin playing, I work on music theory, aural training, improvisation, creativity development and body awareness. Some people want to enter conservatoires, prepare auditions or partake in competitions, others want to learn a specific repertoire or simply get to know their way around the instrument. I can help you build confidence and improve your technical and musical skills to reach your goals!
