About David

I'm a longtime software engineer who has had the chance to learn many different languages, platforms, and tools. After many years as a software developer, I now work part-time on behalf of investors, assessing the software development practices of companies. But my passion is teaching these skills. I've taught new hires at several companies, college students (including for Northeastern University), and younger students as well. I've studied theory of learning and divergent learning styles. I have proven effective techniques I've used to teach large groups for today's top companies, and I can tailor them to be even more effective for you.

About the lesson

We'll develop a personalized plan based on your experience, and adapt the pace to meet your needs, but you'll always learn by doing, with hands-on practice.
If you're a student we'll make sure to cover the topics in your syllabus, and some fundamentals that your teacher might have skipped.
If you're planning a career, we'll make sure to cover tools and techniques that might not be part of a school curriculum but that will make you stand out to employers.
