About Laura
A life-long dancer and stretcher, I studied dance at UC Berkeley (meeting and seeing some of the greats!) — then went on to dance and choreograph in NYC. Most recently I worked at EMW Center for Holistic Medicine (in LA) as a dance-stretch & meditation guide for people whose bodies needed some practical TLC. I’m happy to tell you more when we speak!

Movement makes life so much better! Especially with some rhythm, lightness, flexibility and use of breath. My form of modern dance focuses as much on loosening up and finding your own body as it does on movement, shape and technique. We play! We breathe. We experiment. And we learn how YOUR body wants to move. It is a fun and beautiful way to work out, find better balance, learn some basic moves and acquire a touch of discipline in a unique way. I also have access to a fairly private beach if that is a desired location to you. I look forward to hearing from you if movement, dance, balance and stretch are s something you’ve been wanting to try!! It is also just great (and easy) to learn as a whole-body form of health and exercise. You will walk lightly and feel tall!
