About Elina
I am a vocal instructor with 20 years of experience and hold a Bachelor of Contemporary Music with a Voice major. My teaching approach integrates multiple styles, including Classical, Pop, Rock, and Country, allowing students to explore a wide musical palette. I emphasize ear training, harmony, and music theory to develop well-rounded musicianship alongside vocal skill. Each lesson is tailored to the individual, ensuring exercises and repertoire suit their voice, goals, and learning pace. I focus on building strong technique, breath control, and tone while encouraging expressive and confident performance. My students range from beginners discovering their voice to advanced singers refining their artistry. I incorporate practical performance skills, including phrasing, interpretation, and stage presence, to prepare learners for recitals, auditions, or recordings. Creativity and musical expression are at the heart of my teaching, helping students connect deeply with their repertoire. I provide constructive feedback in a supportive environment to foster growth and self-confidence. Lessons balance technical rigor with fun, engaging exercises to keep learning motivating. My singing methodology is designed to help students discover their unique vocal identity while growing creatively. Digital tools such as DAWs and melody trainers help students experiment with sound, timing, and arrangement. Genre exploration—from pop and jazz to soul and R&B—allows students to discover what resonates with them. Improvisation exercises foster creativity and quick thinking in performance situations. I adapt exercises to each student’s strengths while gently addressing areas for improvement. Lessons balance technical precision with expressive freedom, ensuring growth without pressure.
