About Mahri
Hello! My name is Mahri, and I am a native Russian speaker from Turkmenistan with more than six years of experience teaching languages online.
I have worked with students of different ages and levels on platforms such as Preply and italki. I teach Russian to both children and adults, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I also speak Turkmen, Turkish and Persian fluently, which helps me explain difficult grammar and vocabulary clearly to students from different backgrounds.
I lived and studied in Iran for eight years, so languages and communication have always been an important part of my life. I truly enjoy teaching and seeing my students become more confident and comfortable speaking Russian. My lessons are friendly, supportive and adapted to each student’s individual goals.

My Russian lessons are personalised according to each student’s level, goals and learning style. I work with complete beginners, intermediate and advanced learners, as well as both children and adults.
During the lessons, we can focus on speaking, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading and everyday Russian. I use clear explanations, practical exercises, conversation practice and personalised learning materials. For children, I include visual materials, games and simple activities to keep lessons engaging and enjoyable.
I have more than six years of online language teaching experience and have taught students through platforms such as Preply and italki. My goal is to create a friendly and comfortable environment where students can speak without fear of making mistakes and gradually become more confident in Russian.
