About Monish
Hi, I’m Monish Jain, a certified pianist from Trinity College London, and I’ve been teaching piano for 6+ years to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners, around the world, including the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Dubai, and more.
My goal is to help students learn piano, understand music, and achieve their musical goals through a structured and enjoyable approach.
Over the years, I’ve explored music pedagogy and different approaches to music education, while teaching in schools and working with music education institutions. I’ve also judged music competitions and instrumental auditions and performed live with bands and artists, giving me experience from both teaching and performing perspectives. I enjoy sharing this experience to help students grow their piano skills, musical understanding, confidence, and love for music.

As along with teaching, I’m also an active performing musician and play live with bands, which allows me to bring practical, real-world musical experience into my lessons. My teaching combines traditional methods like worksheets and music theory with interactive apps and freely available resources online, including AI tools, learning apps, and YouTube. I focus not just on learning music theory, but on understanding how to apply it practically while playing and eventually learning your favorite songs independently.
After each class, I provide a practice plan, designed notes, and tutorial videos to help you practice effectively. If you get stuck or have any doubts while practicing, you can always reach out to me instead of waiting for the next session.
