About Marco

HI! I'm Marco, a qualified Italian teacher with several years of experience teaching language and literature in Italian schools. Over the years, I've learned that teaching a language isn't just about grammar — it's about people, conversations, and discovering new ways to express ideas and emotions.

I love showing students how alive and expressive Italian can be. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, supported, and genuinely curious about the language.

I'll follow your pace and make sure each step feels clear, enjoyable, and rewarding. Together, we'll make Italian something you can really enjoy and make your own.

About the lesson

I have several years of experience teaching Italian language and literature to native speakers, mainly at secondary school level. Over time, this has given me a deep understanding of how Italian grammar, culture, and communication work together.

More recently, I've started adapting my approach for foreign learners too, focusing on practical communication, listening skills, and cultural immersion.

- Teaching method:
My lessons are highly interactive and adaptable. I mix conversation practice, grammar reinforcement, and authentic materials such as songs, news articles, and short literary texts. I like to connect every grammar rule to real examples and cultural insights, so that learning feels natural and meaningful.

Lesson structure:
My lessons always start with a short warm-up or dialogue to activate vocabulary, followed by a clear focus on a specific topic or skill (grammar, pronunciation, or listening).
Then we practice through guided exercises or conversation. I always end with a short recap to make sure that everything is clear, also giving useful tips for independent practice.

Specific approach:
I firmly believe that language learning is not about academic perfection and precision, but mostly about confidence and curiosity. I encourage students to speak freely, make mistakes. The only effective way to learn is through real, authentic communication.
