About Julia

My name is Julia, I am 22 years old. I discovered my passion for teaching while helping my younger brother with his French homework—seeing a child improve and gain confidence is a satisfaction like no other.

I have been supporting children in French since the age of 15, and I also learn oral communication at the Cours Florent in Montpellier, a well-known drama school. This experience allows me to approach French differently: beyond grammar and spelling.

I adapt each lesson to the student’s profile and needs, whether it’s academic support, exam preparation, or learning French as a second language.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is based on communication, simplicity, and confidence-building. I believe that the best way to learn a language is by actively using it, so I encourage my students to speak from the very beginning, even at a basic level.

I use a mix of conversation, practical exercises, and structured grammar explanations adapted to each student’s needs. I focus on real-life situations (travel, work, daily conversations) to make learning useful and engaging. I also correct mistakes in a supportive way to help students improve without feeling stressed.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes speaking practice, vocabulary building, and clear explanations of key grammar points. I always adapt the lesson pace and content depending on the student’s level and goals.

I currently teach beginners and intermediate learners (A1 to B1), and I am comfortable working with teenagers and adults. Even though I may not have formal teaching qualifications yet, I am motivated, patient, and dedicated to helping my students progress effectively.

My goal is to create a relaxed and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident speaking French.
