About Shreya
Hi! I'm Shreya, a Bharatanatyam dancer with over 18 years of training and more than 100 stage performances. I had the privilege of training under the renowned Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan for two years, an experience that deepened both my technique and appreciation for this beautiful art form. I have also taught students through my own dance classes, which helped me develop a patient, encouraging, and personalized teaching style. Alongside dance, I'm pursuing a Master's in Clinical Psychology, which has further strengthened my communication skills and understanding of individual learning styles. I look forward to sharing the joy of dance with students from around the world.

I believe dance should be enjoyable, inspiring, and accessible to everyone. My online classes are open to complete beginners as well as experienced dancers, with lessons tailored to your age, pace, and goals. I teach Bharatanatyam technique(adavus), hand gestures, facial expressions( abhinayam), rhythm, choreography, and performance skills, along with semi-classical dance.Whether you're learning to connect with your Indian heritage, preparing for performances, or simply exploring Indian classical dance for the first time, I'd love to help you on your journey.
