About Brad

I'm Brad, a practicing Landscape Architect. The road here wasn't straightforward, but it was one I worked hard to achieve — through university, freelance landscape designing residential projects alongside contractors, nursery technicians, and tradies, and helping establish a landscape design–build business after graduating. This experience shaped much of my early practical understanding, as I now practise formally as a Landscape Architect here in Victoria.
I've been drafting and delivering real projects with AutoCAD since 2018, and well beyond the classroom. Teaching has been apart of my path too — I've found genuine fulfilment in supporting students who want practical knowledge to prepare them for the workforce, something university alone doesn't always provide.
My goal in tutoring is to bridge that gap: I'll teach you to draft cleanly and think like a professional, but the goal is to learn a real skill you can take into the workplace, not just a finished assignment.

About the lesson

University teaches the fundamentals, but it doesn't always prepare emerging professionals for the mundane, unglamorous, practical realities of the job, or equip them with the soft skills and applied knowledge needed to thrive early in your career.
With experience in freelance landscape design, time spent tutoring at university, and ongoing professional practice, I offer guidance grounded in real-world CAD work — not just software theory.
This is not a service for boosting grades or gaming assignments. I'm not here to help you tick assessment boxes — I'm here to help you become a more capable, confident, practice-ready AutoCAD user and future practitioner.
Tutorials are available online or in person by arrangement. You will need AutoCAD installed on your computer to follow along and ask questions in real time. Consider this your chance to pick the brain of a practicing professional.
