About Faisal

I am a Certified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, and audit across different industries and with KPMG, EY at Senior Manager level. In addition to my full-time professional work, I have been teaching for over 25 years. For me, teaching is not just an extra activity—it is something I truly enjoy. It enables me to share knowledge, support students, and contribute to their academic and professional development. I especially enjoy simplifying complex financial topics and helping students understand them with confidence. Seeing their progress is both motivating and rewarding. My combined experience in industry and education helps me bring practical, real-world insights into the classroom, making learning more relevant and engaging for my students

About the lesson

With more than 23 years of teaching experience, I have taught ACCA papers including Financial Reporting (FR) and Strategic Business Reporting (SBR), helping many students achieve strong exam results. I have also taught ICAEW Professional and Advanced Level papers in Accounting and Financial Reporting, preparing future chartered accountants with the skills and confidence they need. In addition, I have taught Financial and Management Accounting to university students across different programs, adapting my lessons to meet both academic and industry needs.

My teaching style is interactive, student-focused, and practical. I aim to make every session engaging and easy to relate to by using real-life examples and encouraging participation. Teaching is more than a job for me—it is something I genuinely enjoy and pursue even in my free time. It gives me great satisfaction to support students in their academic growth and professional development.
