About Jacques

I am a Native French speaker and I went to French school in London from ages 3 to 16 which has enabled me to maintain a very high level in French throughout the years. I have achieved a grade of A* in French for my GCSE and my A Levels. I am recent graduate from the university of Leeds where I studied Spanish and Portuguese. I am also capable of tutoring in Spanish having achieved a grade of A* for my Spanish GCSE and a grade of A for my A levels.

About the lesson

I have worked with children as young as 4 years old which has made me a very patient and efficient teacher. This has made teaching older children easier for me as from my personal experience, older children have been much more attentive and invested in their work. Therefore, having learned 'the hard way' by teaching younger children first, I have felt extremely confident and comfortable whenever I have taught older children. My aim is for my student to feel as comfortable as I am and make rapid progress and most importantly gain confidence in his/her abilities by becoming increasingly self-sufficient after each session.

He quickly earned the respect from his teammates. The team finished runner-up of the Camden and regents Park Youth League under Jacques’s leadership.

Jacques has been volunteering from January To June with his previous football coach as an assistant trainer for younger teams. During sessions he would help in training the players as well as sharing his experience and technique with the team. Jacques has shown great professionalism during his time with the coach. I am manager of an extremely busy leading indoor tennis facility with a very active and demanding customer base. For that reason our levels are customer service
Need to be excellent.

I have known Jacques for 5 years through two main part time job roles as Manager.

1. Tennis Coaching assistant- Aiding lead Tennis Coaches to deliver sessions from 5yrs up to 18 yrs old.

- Involved positive teaching communication/organisation/initiative within a group teaching scenario
- During this time he compiled and followed an evaluation folder with drills/lesson planning/Attendance records for assessment by professional teaching body which he passed.
2. -Duty Manager (Evenings /weekends)

- Duties : Customer care/Answering phones/responsible for entire sports centre/problem solving/face to face customer service/Good IT organisational skills/Maintenance of database .
