About Oliver
Hello! I am an actor from West London. I recently completed the MFA Professional Acting programme at LAMDA. Prior to this, I graduated from the University of Manchester in 2017 with a First-Class Honours Degree in Drama. I'm also a member of the National Youth Theatre and I trained for several years at Amanda Redman's Artists Theatre School.

I want my students to feel relaxed and free to try things out. It can be hard to be creative if you feel nervous about letting go. I will encourage my students to feel confident in their ability, discover their playful side, and believe they have something unique to offer. Only you can do what you can do, so let’s make that the best it can be!
I will design my lessons around the needs and ability of each individual student. Whether they're preparing for an audition or looking to develop their speaking voice and physical presence, I want my students to feel excited by their work – to have fun! For me, it's about taking the work seriously, but never yourself. Approaching things with a sense of humour always brings the best results. You can only do your best work when you enjoy doing it, and I intend to make every lesson count.
I offer lessons in drama school audition preparation and LAMDA exams (Acting, Public Speaking, Speaking Verse & Prose, and Reading for Performance). Drawing on my training at LAMDA, I will help to find speeches that best serve you, apply exercises that fuel your imagination, and get you to a place where you feel bold and brave in your performance choices. Crucially, I will help to find YOUR way through the speeches. Panellists want to see you and your unique interpretation of the text. When you feel like you know the text inside out, you can do anything with it. Spontaneity and allowing yourself to be redirected are also key skills in every kind of performance.
