Hello budding violinists and parents!

I'm currently a rising 4th-year undergrad at The Cleveland Institute of Music, majoring in violin performance under the guidance of Jaime Laredo and Jessica Lee. With a foundation grounded in rigorous training and a passion that spans over 15 years, I am wholeheartedly committed to sharing the elegance and depth of the violin.

My students, ranging in age and experience, each have their own musical journeys. While not everyone may pursue a conservatory path, I firmly believe that all can have an enriching musical education, tailored to their unique strengths and aspirations. Every lesson with me is dedicated to fostering genuine enthusiasm for the violin and ensuring growth with every note.

With over 8 years of violin teaching experience, I have had the pleasure of mentoring students across a spectrum of ages and skill levels. Whether you're a young beginner just dipping your toes into the world of music or an ambitious learner aspiring to make music your major at university, my lessons are tailored to fit you.

My Approach: At the core of my teaching methodology is the belief that every student deserves a holistic musical experience. This means not only building solid technique and musicality but also fostering an environment where fun and passion are central. Every student's journey is unique, and I aim to guide each individual to their own musical milestones and aspirations.

Teaching Techniques: My methodology is grounded in the foundational principles of violin playing, ensuring a strong technical base while also incorporating pieces that resonate with each student's personal musical tastes and aspirations.

Typical Lesson Plan: Our lessons commence with a warm-up, focusing on scales and technique. This progresses to the main piece or pieces we're tackling, punctuated with constructive feedback and duet playing (where I play alongside you). We'll often conclude with a reflective discussion on progress and set targets for the next lesson.

What Sets Me Apart: Beyond my experience, it's my commitment to understanding each student's unique journey. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Some students may dream of conservatory stages, while others may simply want to play their favorite tunes. Each ambition is valid, and I am here to guide, inspire, and make those dreams a reality.
