About Tuhin
I am Tuhin Anukkruti, a passionate Kathak dancer and teacher trained at Kathak Kendra, with a strong interest in sharing the beauty of Indian classical dance. Along with dance, I am also a lifestyle accessories designer, which brings creativity and artistic perspective to my teaching.
My classes focus on both practice and theory, including rhythm, footwork, expression, and understanding the cultural depth of Kathak. I aim to create a supportive and enjoyable learning environment where students can build confidence, technique, and appreciation for the art form.

My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation in Kathak and semi-classical dance while helping students understand both practice and theory. I guide students in tatkar (footwork), rhythm (taal), hand gestures, and abhinaya (expression) so they can develop grace, coordination, and confidence.
A typical class begins with basic practice and rhythm exercises, followed by compositions or choreography, along with theory discussions about Kathak history, gharanas, and taal when required.
I aim to create a supportive and disciplined learning environment where students can understand the beauty of Indian classical dance while improving their technique.
My classes are suitable for school students, beginners, and adults who wish to learn Kathak or semi-classical dance for cultural learning, personal interest, or performance.
