About Matheus
I'm Shotokan Karate Black Belt with 15+ years training experience, and 4 years as instructor. I also was Co-instructor in social project in Brazil with kids.
Very enthusiastic about martial arts
Focused in Karate Budo, it means karate for the whole life, improving body, mind and spirit condition.
Through the practice of karate you will improve:

About the lesson

My teaching method is karate for life.
Therefore, it is focused on teaching how to tap into your inner power to develop as a human being in all aspects of your life, whether it’s in your career, your studies or the battles of life in general.
In practical terms, karate is divided in 3 great columns (kihon, kata, kumite):
1. Kihon (basics) - which is the learning process of each technique. Step by step the student learns the moves.
2. Kata - which is a predefined sequence of moves practiced in step 1. It will help the muscles to develop moving memories and also the student will understand how the techniques connect to each other.
3. Kumite - which can be understood as fighting techniques, but it’s more than that. At this point the student sharps the techniques understanding the ideal distance, also, ironically, the student improves the nonviolence principle.
All the sessions are deep detailed in each technique with A LOT of repetitions.
Also, the sessions start and finish with small meditation!
The student will discover his/her power to overcome difficulties, be happier and how to bring karate to his/her daily life!
Through the practice of karate you will bring to life:
