In my piano improvisation teaching approach, I prioritize the liberation of both mind and body, enabling a profound connection with your inner self while nurturing the art of listening. Our journey begins with an exploration of the essence of sound and silence. We then delve into the mechanics of the instrument, closely followed by understanding body movement and the efficient transfer of weight from your body to your fingers and onto the keyboard. Then we start with the simplest elements of improvisation and gradually progressing towards the ultimate freedom of self-expression.
