About Freya
With 5 years of violin teaching experience and nearly 150 students successfully mentored, I am dedicated to helping learners of all levels unlock their musical potential. I strongly believe that consistent guidance and proper fundamentals are the keys to success.
My lessons emphasise posture alignment, bow control, intonation accuracy, and rhythm precision. As students gain confidence, I gradually introduce advanced techniques, expressive phrasing, and performance preparation. I maintain a structured yet supportive teaching environment where students feel motivated and comfortable asking questions. I provide clear home practice strategies and regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
One of my unique abilities is quickly identifying technical challenges and offering simple corrective techniques that produce visible results. My goal is to develop confident, technically sound, and musically expressive violinists.

In my violin classes, clear communication creates strong progress. I encourage students to openly share their doubts and challenges so I can guide them effectively. I adapt my teaching methods depending on whether the student learns visually, through listening, or through practical exercises.
I teach important techniques like intonation control, bowing variations, vibrato basics, shifting positions, and dynamic expression in simple steps. Along with playing skills, I include music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm studies, music appreciation, and ensemble coordination.
I connect every lesson to real-life performance experiences such as concerts, school programmes, graded exams, and orchestra teamwork. This helps students understand the practical value of their learning. My approach builds both technical strength and musical confidence.
