About Honor
As a journalism graduate, writing & editing have always been part of my academic and professional background. Trained in a newsroom, I know the pressure of deadlines and scrutiny on writing tasks. With 3A*s at A Level, a First Class degree, Gold-standard diploma and currently undertaking a post-grad in Art History, I am well-positioned to teach students and wish to use my academic knowledge to help others.

As a tutor with a writing background, I guide students through the planning, drafting and editing phases of their writing tasks, utilising my experience as an editor to help them improve at every stage. In my teaching, I focus on making real-world connections to bring topics to life, encourage critical thinking and foster curiosity. Ultimately my lessons will be tailored to the student's needs, the core element being breaking down tasks into manageable steps that will allow students to take these methods into their own learning and gain the confidence they need to excel.
