About Joshua
Hi! I'm Josh, a young adult currently studying the trombone at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Previously, I studied at Chetham's School of Music, and been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain and many other ensembles. This has led me to gain a ABRSMDip and three Grade 8s, at Merit or higher, as well as an A* in Music A-Level. I grew up playing piano, before moving onto Euphonium and Trombone when I was 8 and 11 respectively! I've been lucky enough to perform under conductors like Ben Gernon, Gianandrea Noseda, Jamie Martin and many others in venues all across the UK and Europe.

I'm a patient, committed and energetic teacher, happy to teach up to Grade 5 Piano, Grade 5+ Brass, and Grade 5 theory and beyond. I've taught friends and fellow students before, and I'm always looking for a laugh along the way! Lessons would be 30 mins - 60 mins depend on what you're after!
