About Valentina

My name is Valentina, I moved to Scotland in July 2015 but I’m originally from the south of Italy. I’ve got a BA honours degree in Business Management. I love reading, eating all sort of food, travelling and I also love languages. Apart for Italian which is my native language, I speak English, Spanish, French and a bit of German. And I’m now learning Japanese. Learning a new language is fascinating because it can allow you to understand a different culture, history, different traditions. Speaking a new language enable to travel the world without actually going anywhere.

About the lesson

I always put students needs first and I establish a genuine connection with them from the beginning. I am very flexible and opened to help across reading, listening, writing or grammar. I build students confidence through interaction and I keep them motivated and engaged using their interests and breaking the lesson into segments. Every student is different and need a different learning method according to their level and goals. Let’s find out yours together!
