I am deeply motivated to educate those with a keen interest in corporate finance and investment banking, as I understand the challenges and opportunities associated with this highly sought-after career path. Investment banking offers accelerated learning about businesses, invaluable financial knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders. Moreover, the industry's lucrativeness adds to its appeal. However, these advantages have also created intense competition, making it challenging for many aspiring professionals to secure junior positions.

Having experienced the demanding nature of the industry first-hand, I am passionate about helping students overcome these obstacles and achieve their specific goals. I recognise the lack of qualified tutors with real-life knowledge available to offer valuable assistance. Therefore, in my spare time, I am committed to sharing my insights and expertise to support students in their pursuit of success in investment banking.

About the lesson

Welcome to my profile! I am a investment banking professional offering private tutoring services to individuals interested in the finance industry. With over five years of practical finance work experience and industry insights, I am dedicated to guiding and supporting aspiring finance students / professionals on their path to success. My services are tailored to individuals of all levels, from high school students considering a finance degree to university students and early-stage professionals.

During our lessons, I provide a hands-on approach that covers various aspects of finance. I specialise in financial excel spreadsheeting and financial modelling, including operating models, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and leveraged buyout (LBO) modelling. I aim to be practical via live modelling demonstrations and interactive worksheets so that you will be able to roll up your sleeves. We will be also utilising real world, ASX listed company data hence by no means I will only cover the theory side!

Additionally, I offer comprehensive financial career advice to help you navigate the industry and make informed decisions. I provide an investment banking interview guide to assist you in preparing for interviews and standing out from the competition. Moreover, I offer instruction in corporate finance theory to provide you with a solid foundation in the subject.
