About Sonal
I am a visual artist born and educated in India. I immigrated to Canada in 2005, and was blessed with a very successful art career. I developed an abstract style of art and had shows in Canada, USA, Europe and India. The highlight of my career was being invited to be a member of a delegation to Paris to participate twice in the annual show of the Paris society of fine arts at The Louvre. I received awards at these shows from the Arts Lettres and Sciences society of Paris. After this recognition, I was inspired to learn more about how art can be used to reduce stress and balance energy. I developed and taught unique processes of art in my local art school. During the pandemic, I began to teach online. I am now returning to India, and very excited to share my teaching on this platform. I look forward to welcoming you to my classes.
