About Gary

Young International Master at 2400 élo, I offer courses to players from beginner to advanced level. Accustomed from an early age to the biggest national and international competitions (French, European and World Championship), I know what the challenge is, the desire to surpass oneself, the work to be done to achieve a expected level, how to withstand failures, how to obtain a victory ... Thanks to my atypical career, I rubbed shoulders and trained with the best French people, including one of the best world coaches, Mr. Iossif Dorfmann Par all this acquired experience, i learned to better understand the game of chess, to detect the strengths and weaknesses of each one and to find a solution in order to correct oneself. I am a very educator, who invests a lot in the progress of his students. Everyone has different expectations of the game, I adapt according to these by helping the student concerned as best as possible so that he can reach the end of his set goal. No matter the age, the level, we can always progress. I had several students. Some were amateurs, others, whom I still take care of, are motivated young people full of promise. It is with great pleasure that I will take care of you!

About the lesson

I base my courses according to each one. Not everyone has the same qualities and the same flaws, so my methodology is never the same. That said, I like having some parts of you to analyze before the first class so that we can talk about it, take stock etc. If you don't have one, we'll play a few games so I can see what interests me.

Il est très patient. C’est à souligner car je n’avais que les bases lors de nos premiers cours mais il n’a jamais montré un signe d’exaspération (et pourtant il aurait pu).

Gary est un professeur très pédagogue, vif d'esprit, qui vous accompagne de façon très complète, et le petit plus par rapport à d'autres professeurs que j'ai pu avoir dans le passé : il crée des ponts et donne du sens à votre travail en faisant de nombreux liens entre les exercices.
