About Siddi
I am a Piano tutor with over 17 years of teaching experience, helping students of all ages, from school children to college learners and working professionals, to develop strong technical skills and a love for music. My goal is to make piano learning structured, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clear explanations, and consistent progress. I focus on building strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, sight reading, and music theory while encouraging creativity and expression. Lessons are explained in simple English and reinforced with practical exercises, familiar songs, and demonstrations to make learning effective and engaging.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s goals, age, and learning pace. For children, lessons are interactive and fun, keeping them motivated. For adults and working professionals, sessions are structured, goal-oriented, and flexible to fit busy schedules.
I also guide students on effective home practice, performance preparation, and exam readiness. Many of my students have performed confidently, passed graded exams, and developed a lifelong passion for piano. Watching my students grow musically and personally is my greatest reward.

I follow a teaching methodology grounded in compassion, supportiveness, and clear communication. I believe that each student learns differently, and my role is to adapt lessons to their pace, abilities, and goals. In piano lessons, I focus on technical skill development, musical understanding, and creative expression, ensuring that students enjoy every step of their learning.
I break down complex concepts into manageable steps, provide demonstrations, and encourage active participation and experimentation. Constructive feedback and positive reinforcement help students stay motivated and confident.
I also teach other relevant subjects using the same adaptable, student-centred approach. My goal is to inspire curiosity, foster growth, and help students develop confidence, skill, and a lifelong love for learning and self-expression.
