About Tasha
I am 36 and am working on completing my PhD thesis this year whilst I parent my 2 year old son.
My research focus is on the synthesis and biological testing of a range of inorganic chemical compounds with the hopes of developing new chemotherapeutic agents, and better understanding their biological properties . Organic chemistry is also a large component of my research due to the nature of coordinating inorganic chemical compounds.
I often tutor and run laboratories part-time at the university. I love to teach and my tutoring focus has predominantly been in foundation level chemistry to help students establish effective study methods, basic concept understanding and confidence for exams/tests.
I love to teach and to help people learn chemistry!
