About Lang
Final year Mathematics and Statistical Science BSc student at UCL.
A-Level: A*A*AA in Maths, Further Maths, Additional Maths and Chinese.
I am expecting students to achieve A*s by using the right methods to learn.
[How did I do so well in mathematics?]
I am not clever. My brain does not function better than most of others. However, I found the way to learn and to perform well.
GCSE and A-Level Mathematics are not as difficult as many people think.
In fact, they are simple. As long as you do the right thing. There is a certain method of learning and a certain method to do well in the examinations. And it is never too late to start doing the right thing.
[Why do I love mathematics?]
Mathematics is a bridge to the truth, a pair of X-ray specs that reveal hidden structure underneath the messy and chaotic surface of the world.
My curiosity was triggered when I read an amazing book called "How Not To Be Wrong" written by Jordan Ellenberg, a full of simple yet profound insights into many areas of modern life. Every single story or example in the book opens a window for me and allows me to rejoice that I can see through devious or simply incompetent manipulation of mathematics.

William gained good grades on maths gcse and a level and he has also helped a lot people( in high school) including me, on Maths before. I am very sure he will become a good tutor and keep helping students on their weak maths modules.
Mr.Wang is a very nice and patient person. He is currently studying Mathematics and Statistical Science in UCL, so there is no doubt that he could handle different areas of math very well. With his help, my math has been hugely improved. Besides, he is a very organized people who founded a society in Uni. Choose Lang, choose the bright future.
