About Tanya
With over 10 years of experience as a Trainer and Assessor and more than 15 years of industry experience in leadership, management, and operations, I am passionate about helping students achieve their learning goals.
I hold a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and have extensive experience delivering and assessing Business, Leadership and Management qualifications within the VET sector. My current role as an Operations Manager allows me to bring real-world industry knowledge into every lesson, helping students understand not only the theory but also how it applies in the workplace.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to suit individual needs. Whether you need support with assessments, understanding course content, or building confidence in your studies, I provide patient, professional, and practical guidance every step of the way.

My Approach to Tutoring and Training
I am a highly experienced Trainer and Assessor with over 10 years of experience in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector and more than 15 years of experience in training, leadership, management, and operational roles.
Teaching Methodology and Techniques
My approach is learner-centred, practical, and supportive. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand language and relate learning to real workplace scenarios. I encourage active participation through discussions, case studies, problem-solving activities, and practical examples that help learners apply their knowledge confidently in the workplace.
I tailor my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and provide ongoing guidance, feedback, and support to help students achieve their goals. I believe in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and seeking assistance.
Typical Lesson Length
Lessons are typically between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the learner's needs and objectives. Longer sessions can be arranged for assessment preparation, assignment support, or workplace projects.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE)
Over 10 years' experience as a Trainer and Assessor
Extensive experience delivering Business, Leadership and Management, and Tourism qualifications
Current industry experience as an Operations Manager within the financial services sector
Experience with online delivery, workplace-based training, RPL, assessment validation, and compliance requirements
