About Isra

Hi! I'm a native Spanish speaker from Spain, currently living in Vancouver, Canada. I’m bilingual in Spanish and English and have spent more than 20 years working professionally in television and media.

I’ve worked with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, often in fast-paced situations where clear communication, confidence, and the ability to connect with people really matter.

Now I’m bringing that experience into language teaching.

About the lesson

I'm offering private Spanish lessons for adults who want to improve their communication skills in a relaxed, practical environment.

Because of my professional background, I'm particularly interested in helping people who want to feel more confident speaking, communicating, presenting, and interacting with others in another language.

If you're learning Spanish, I can help you with:

I'm happy to work with beginners, but I particularly enjoy helping intermediate and advanced students who understand Spanish fairly well but want to become more natural and confident when speaking.

I don't believe language learning has to feel like sitting in a classroom.

We'll use conversation and real-life situations to work on the language you actually want to use. Depending on your goals, we can use articles, videos, current events, role-playing, or simply have a structured conversation.

I'll correct you when it's useful, explain why something sounds more natural, and help you find the vocabulary and expressions you need.

My goal is not simply for you to know more grammar. It's for you to feel comfortable communicating with people.

Lessons are available online or in person in Vancouver, depending on location and schedule.
