I am training to be a fully qualified teacher and furthermore have previous successful experience in tutoring. I teach a range of humanities subjects at KS3, GCSE, and A-Level and have motivated students to excel and achieve.

I have 18 Months of tutoring experience in Religion, Philosophy & Ethics at A Level. I tutored two students who both went onto achieve Grade A qualifications in the subject.

In this role I endeavour to provide support for colleagues, and students across subjects. As a Teaching Assistant, it is important to create sound professional relationships with staff to tailor lessons effectively towards student needs. Occasionally, I provide temporary cover for a teacher, which entails maintaining control over the classroom. This role ensures tangible experience in working with young people. Working in this occupation has helped to develop qualities such as organisation, time management, incisive decision making, and extracting key information. This role has helped to further solidify my passion for the teaching profession.
Private Tutoring – Religious Education

My role in private tutoring is to motivate and educate my students so that they achieve their highest potential. In this role, I display organisational skills to create lessons which address the needs of my students. My specialist subject in which I tutor is Religious Education which means that I must display a good understanding of different religions, opinions, and philosophical perspectives and furthermore, be able to articulate this to my students.
Windsor High School

Religious Education & History – Whilst working in Windsor High School I taught lessons in Key Stage 3 Religious Education (R.E.) and History, GCSE R.E., and A -Level Philosophy. My role also included working one to one with specific individuals in order to improve their academic performance, I also worked with small groups and on some occasions taught full classes. I developed strong positive relationships with colleagues, which helped me to gain experience and learn from full time teachers.

Customer Salesman – In this role I work in Customer Sales. This job entails re-stocking shelves, serving on the till and dealing with customer enquiries on the shop floor. On occasions my line manager has left me in charge of the Frozen department.

Customer Salesman – My role here was customer salesmanship. My primary goal was to sell footwear on different departments, as well as attend to customer enquiries. On occasions, I would work in the warehouse and help to arrange the newly delivered stock and prepare it for sale.

Mind Charity – Customer Salesman/Warehouse – This voluntary role enabled me to gain experience in a work environment. My role at Mind charity involved working with the less fortunate, this entailed helping them to choose items of clothing, making friendly conversation, and encouraging them on issues they opened up on. I also helped to maintain the shop floor, and the warehouse making sure that new stock was prepared for the shop floor.
