About Anais
I am currently a student in second year at the University of Exeter looking to impart my knowledge on exam technique for both GCSE and A Level history.
Having achieved an A* at A Level and a 9 at GCSE, I realise that something I found most beneficial in the lead up to the exams was advice on exam technique. I hope to pass on the knowledge I was given through excellent teaching at school, and help those who might be too shy to request help in class!

I believe that lessons should begin with the student directing attention to areas with which they struggle. This would provide the focus for the lesson, in which I will create interactive tasks to ensure that the student has fully understood the explanation given. In these sessions, I will feedback on essays and work provided, offering advice on grammar, essay structure and exam technique for both GCSE and A Level students.
I would expect a lesson to last between 45 minutes to 1 hr, up to the students/payers discretion.
I have previous experience with tutoring history as well as other subjects (chemistry and biology) at both GCSE and A Level. I am best acquainted with the AQA exam board, but would be willing to adapt in order to cater to OCR or Edexel.
