From my first lesson I gathered that Ryan is kind, thoughtful, easy and interesting to talk to, observant, and humble. He prefers in person communication to phone, and seems to like to try new things. He also seems very easy going and requested slow paced lessons with one main focus at a time, and patience, which is my cup of tea. I love slow paced, thoughtful, intentional photography and I also learn this way as well. Looking forward to continuing to support and encourage Ryan through his photography journey!

Straightforward about what she was needing and looking for in a lesson. What her goals were and what she finds to be roadblocks or challenges that make accessing creativity seem much more difficult. Fran was curious and followed through on some of the tasks I gave her before we met, which show a genuine desire to learn and achieve her photography goals. Shes willing to try something new with no experience, and that can be scary, which is admirable!
