About Dee
As an award-winning high school journalist, I’ve earned national recognition from the likes of Columbia University and the National Scholastic Press Association and completed a course from the New York Times' pre-college writing program. I serve as editor for my school’s newspaper, where I mentor younger writers and lead editorial reviews. I have completed advanced coursework in AP English Language and AP Seminar. My work has helped students strengthen their writing, elevate their grades, and craft compelling, successful college essays (students who had their essays reviewed by me have been accepted into colleges like UC Berkeley, San Diego State, etc.!).
