Born in Chisinau, Moldova, I began to play the piano at the age of 4. Since then, piano has been my biggest passion and love. I believe that music brings beauty and joy to everyday life and am excited to share my knowledge.

I am a passionate pianist and teacher with two Master degrees and a Doctorate degree in piano performance and pedagogy. I have 18 years of experience in teaching my favorite instrument and I am finding myself to be an inspiration for my students. I believe that music brings beauty in everyday life and am trying to make my lessons fun and productive.

Perfect! My 9yr-old daughter, Razel, has been taking online piano lessons with Larisa for more than 10 months now. From a baby pianist who can just read notes, my Razel is now playing beautiful songs like the Bach: Two-Part Invention No. 13.
Larisa is a highly skillful and dedicated teacher. She hones Razel’s piano skills by giving her challenging pieces while making sure in each lesson that Razel is internalizing the rhythm.
