About John David
Remarkably, I finished first in my French Grammar classes while at College Jean Mermoz, competing against native French speakers. So in some respects, I am more competent in the French language than the French themselves!
During my travels, I have had French people ask me from what region in France I am from.
When I teach you French, you will be receiving the best version available - one learned through years of private tutoring with the best educators France has to offer.

I can still remember my first day at College Jean Mermoz in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. I was in 6eme, the equivalent of 7th grade in the U.S.
Although at first they were unintelligible, those strange words on the blackboard began to make sense over time. In fact, within six months, I was enjoying my break times, joyfully interacting with other students on the playground!
I would like to help you gain the same fluency that I acquired during nearly three years in the French educational system and additional years spent in Lyons and Paris, France.
Maybe one day you will even be able to give an acceptance speech at the Cannes film festival - in French!
Who knows - maybe you might even land a job in France or become a completely bilingual tourist guide!
