My daughter was expecting to achieve Grade 6s in both English GCSE papers at the start of the year but, with Daniel's guidance, she achieved Grade 9s in both English language and literature. Daniel helped her to understand the concepts behind the subject without solely focusing on exam technique, which increased her confidence and enabled her to express herself more freely and authentically.

I started tutoring with Daniel in May 2025 while preparing to apply for sixth form and I can confidently say he is an outstanding tutor. He is more than wonderful and amazing at what he does. His teachings sparked my understanding, helping me discover who I really am academically. By valuing diligence and hard work, he encourages you to consistently show the best version of yourself, giving it your all and to never feel complacent. This approach has helped me reach my goals and push my abilities beyond what I thought was possible. His honesty was crucial as it helped me understand where I stood and what I needed to improve. I highly recommend to anyone who is serious about their academic progress.

Daniel has been an exceptional tutor and a true source of guidance and inspiration for my son during his preparation for sixth form interviews and essays. After every session, Matteo came out energized and enthusiastic — he not only improved his English significantly, but also broadened his perspective on the world thanks to Daniel’s thoughtful and insightful approach.

This tutoring journey has made a real difference: Matteo received offers from both Highgate and UCS. We are deeply grateful for Daniel’s dedication, expertise, and the positive impact he has had. I highly recommend him.

Daniel was tutoring our two daughters for their 11+ exams over almost a year. They both went on to receive offers from several top London schools. While most of the credit goes to the hard work the girls put in, Daniel was undeniably instrumental in helping them achieve this success. He built an excellent rapport with them, and they genuinely enjoyed the lessons. Unlike traditional rote learning or simply going through practice papers, Daniel created a mentor-mentee dynamic, which made the lessons more engaging for the girls.

What stood out most was Daniel's passion for creative writing, which resonated particularly well with our daughters. His ability to inspire them to think critically, express themselves creatively, and approach their work with enthusiasm was invaluable.

I highly recommend Daniel to other Superprof members. His blend of professionalism, passion for teaching, and ability to connect with students on a personal level makes him an exceptional tutor.

I just moved to London and I' am looking for someone to teach me a charming British accent and help me communicate confidently in business terms. My class with Daniel was very fun, and my speaking skills have improved significantly. Moreover, I’ve started mimicking his charming British accent now I speak confidently in both business and daily life. Highly recommend!

Daniel has been a great support to my three children. All made it into their first choice school. Daniels approach and support in both learning and exam techniques and preparation played a big part. I’d recommend Daniel in a heartbeat.

Daniel is simply a superb tutor! He is experienced & knows the school entrance exams inside out. He recently guided my daughter through the 11+ and she got offers from every school we applied to, including St Pauls Girls, Godolphin, North London Collegiate, City, & S Hampstead. He helped my son a few years ago with 13+ and he’s now in Westminster. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Daniel has helped my son prepare for his English GCSE exams. He is clearly a fantastic tutor as my son is feeling a lot more confident about the English papers to come. He has made remarkable improvements in his ability to articulate well on paper and this will support him, not only for these exams, but in all subjects and into his future. Daniel tutored my 2 sons in preparation for their exam and interview for a very competitive north London independent school. He was an excellent tutor and both my boys found the sessions stimulating and enjoyable. Daniel has a way of promoting new and broader ways of thinking. He has a wonderfully relaxed and calming style. Just what we needed with all the hype and pressure of exams. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. Both my boys were offered places at their chosen school.

I have prepared my interview by reading Daniel's 'Interview Superpower' book, and meeting him for a couple of online one-to-one sessions ahead of the meeting with employer.
Daniel's book provided a high level structured approach to the task of preparing for an interview. The one-to-one session was helpful for practising and warming up.

Daniel makes learning fun and interesting.
Definitely recommended!

I am really grateful to Daniel for helping my son just few days before his gcse exams when he suddenly starting panicking and losing his confidence. Daniel gave him full support and confidence to do his best in the exams.

Daniel took our daughter through some essential steps to enhance her comprehension, not only of the passages to be studied and critically discussed, but also of the interpretation of what a question is actually asking. The techniques he showed are useful not just in english language and literature but in many other subjects too. He really instilled in our daughter a sense of her own confidence, and she felt much better equipped to tackle complex subject matter herself. Daniel is a kind and intelligent person who has a way with words that anyone can understand.

Daniel tutored my daughter Eden for her English GCSE in 2016. She benefited from his lessons immediately and enjoyed them too! His feedback to me was uplifting yet honest and I had full confidence in him. Eden did really well in the exam and I can without a doubt state that this was down to Daniel's tutoring. He restored her confidence and passion in the subject and that was priceless.

He knew exactly how to steadily build on her storytelling, adding complexity and eloquence step by step. Daniel was our hero as he tutored my daughter Lastmin.com
Every effort was made to accommodate our timetable and every action only but lead to a growing in confidence!

Daniel allows a comfortable and homely setting which steers concentration only but 1 direction, the class at hand.

We were an exceptional case for a resist as KHS let my daughter down by not entering her for her exam and 6 months later had to come back to resit due to their Blunder.
We found Daniel only but 10 weeks before the exam and ever so pleased we did. It was difficult on both sides but both parties worked very well together in achieving their common goal to pass English with a C being the top grade accessible.
MY DAUGHTER ACHEIVED A grade C IN IGCSE ENGLISH thanks to this amazing worldly man.

Dan, Just want to thank you SO much for tutoring my grandson. He so enjoyed his time with you. He said you made everything interesting. And fun! And his results were brilliant. We are so proud of him and so grateful to you. With best wishes, Sonya Summers

I really like Dan - honest, clever, kind. I've known him about five years now as he taught my daughter Rebecca twice - once for her GCSEs and then again during her time at uni. It didn't seem to matter what she was studying, he helped her get to grips with it and feel a lot more confident! Invaluable. I can recommend him very highly.

Daniel has been extremely encouraging and positive in his tutoring with my 13 year old son and I believe his school work has improved as a result . Daniel is keen to discuss the areas we feel he should be focussing on, but he also is keen to find subjects which will keep my son engaged. I was impressed when he went through my son's book shelves with him so he could get a sense of what makes him tick. I would definitely recommend Daniel.

daniel was reliable, built up amy's confidence, got her interested in the books and we were really pleased with how the exams went.
