About Charome
Picture yourself walking through a café in Paris and ordering coffee without a second thought. I start by running a diagnostic level test to build a plan for your specific goals. Since I have a BM Popular Music degree, we often use role play and dialogue practice that feels like a real conversation.
Whether you need exam preparation for the DELF or DALF, or just want to brush up on travel French, we go at your pace. I provide constant feedback on accent and intonation so you hear your own progress. You will find that reading comprehension becomes much easier once we focus on the rhythm of the words. Have you ever wondered why French sounds so different when a native speaker talks? I started gigging around Montreal 8 years ago and fell into teaching while navigating the local music scene. Holding a BM Popular Music from UdeM gives me a unique perspective on the cadence of the language. I have spent 7 years refining how to teach liaison and nasal sounds to over 100 students.
My focus is on making you sound natural rather than robotic. It just happens that way.
