Hello, I am a retired RN after 35 years. During the past 2 summers I have tutored a 2nd then to be a 3rd grade little girl . Tutoring math + English. We talked about her life + I listened. We sang son

About Sarah
I am a retired RN after 35 yrs. I have vast nursing experience from premie care to geriatrics and homecare. This includes pediatric background x 4 yrs. @ Dartmouth Hichcock.
I also have a son who had/ has dyslexia and needed extra help with math, reading and writing.
It was difficult time for him.
Now, @ 32 he has a good job and does well.
He also played sports during that time as a diversion that he enjoyed and met friends.
I have tutored the last 2 summers for a very active 7 then 8 y. o. little girl. The tutoring was
in Reading, writing, math. I taught her funny songs, arts and crafts, and she talked about her life and I listened. All of this was beneficial to her. In the end she learned alot. We filled out her homework assignments and we texted them in as she lives in Brookln N.Y..
and stays with her grandmother in Grantham, N.H. in the summer. She loved to go to the library and check out some books. Before corvid. This summer we had to pick the books and puzzles that were reserved and could be picked up at a table outside the library.
We also needed to read certain books and answer questions in narrative form.
They teach math differently from when I was in elementary school. But, we made it through.
All and all there lives improved with my help.
