We know that students have short attention spans. Additionally, they also need to be encouraged. They look to their teachers for information and knowledge. Teachers, therefore, play a very important role to empower children to learn and become lifelong learners and keep them motivated. When teachers teach, they must look beyond just finishing portions and instead encourage students to enjoy learning and make studies interesting for them. Being a teacher, a few things that can help in keeping students motivated include: 1. Have one-on-one conversations with students to understand the pace of their learning so that we can create a better learning system that is conducive to their needs. 2. Being excited about what we are teaching them. 3. Getting students involved in the classroom by making participation fun. 5. Recognize and value their work; positive reinforcement helps them become more enthusiastic about learning. 6. Set short-term goals, and celebrate when they are achieved. Finally, in the words of Albert Einstein, "It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge."
