About Layla
Hi, my name is Layla and I am 17 years old. I have been teaching piano at my students houses for two years now. I generally work with students ages 5-8. I believe in setting goals with my students so we can all see progress and improve. I can speak both English and Chinese very well.

I typically teach beginner pianists who need help finding notes or remembering placement. I have them send me the music that they are playing or the music that they want to learn how to play so we have a goal in mind. I often sing out so my student can better retain the information and after class, I sent my students a list of notes on things they need to improve for the next lesson. I can also help watch them practice correcting errors as they go.
